By using StayByCity you accept the terms below. They are short because the site is simple: it publishes travel guides, and it asks nothing of you.

What the guides are, and are not

The guides are information, not advice, and they are written to be useful rather than exhaustive. Prices, opening hours, transport lines and station names change, and a guide is only ever as current as its last update — the date is on every page. Check anything that a journey depends on before you rely on it.

We take accuracy seriously and we correct what we get wrong: if you find an error, the contact form is the fastest way to tell us.

Some links on this site earn us a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. That is how the site is paid for. It does not change what we write: no venue, operator or brand pays for a mention, a placement or a favourable word, and we do not accept sponsored content.

The text of the guides and the rest of the site is ours; please do not republish it wholesale. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome.

The photographs are not ours. They come from Wikimedia Commons and remain the work of their authors, under Creative Commons or public-domain licences. Each image on the site carries its author, its licence and a link to the original — those are the terms on which you may reuse it, and they are the photographer's terms, not ours.

Where we link elsewhere, we do not control what is there and are not responsible for it.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or always be free of errors, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from relying on what it says. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
